Surviving the Salsa Showdown at the Puyallup Fair

I survived as a judge at the Salsa Showdown last night. I was apprehensive at first. There were 15 entries to taste. But they were all good. Some hot, some mildly hot , and a few started “smokin” as I unscrewed the lid. But none were “excessive”.
